Woodsist Fest Will Bring Real Estate, Thee Oh Sees, the Fresh & Onlys, and More to Big Sur
Henry Miller Library The Henry Miller Library: Not a bad place to see some music.
Bay Area residents need but the slightest excuse for a weekend getaway down to Big Sur, sure -- but for local fans of woolly indie rock, the annual Woodsist Fest is pretty much the best justification imaginable for that two-hour drive. The festival takes place over a weekend at the Henry Miller Library, a placid and idyllic locale tucked away in the coastal redwoods. Which, come this August 4 and 5, will be an amazing setting to see both local favorites like Thee Oh Sees and the Fresh & Onlys, as well as out-of-towners like Real Estate, Woods, and Pierced Arrows. Tickets for the festival go on sale today; check out the full lineup after the jump.
