Mistah F.A.B. Immortalizes Trayvon Martin in "God Don't Love Me"

Trayvon Martin.
Oakland's Mistah F.A.B. is one of a few rappers around the nation who have released songs about the death of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

Empathy has always been one of F.A.B.'s strongest suits, lyrically speaking, and it's clear from "God Don't Love me" that this incident hits close to home for him, both in relating to young teens and with his having experienced the loss of his mother last year.

"The whole world wanna talk about Kony," he spits with a Tupac-reminiscent cadence, "but ain't nobody speakin' on the little homie. So many Trayvons over the years left so many black moms puzzled in tears."

Questioning God's intentions in a song is also a Pac-evellian notion that feels freshly understandable with this incomprehensible shooting. Hear F.A.B.'s track after the jump.

Two other Martin tribute songs of note have popped up in Pennsylvania, with Pittsburgh's Jasiri X on "Justice for Trayvon" and Philadelphia's Reef the Lost Cauze's "The Prey."

Try using a pic that is less then 5 years old.  Or just go with a baby picture so the groids will think a  toddler was gunned down.  Yellow journalism bullshit.
