Yeah So Pulp Sold Out the Warfield in Less Than 10 Minutes

Crushed. Crestfallen. Epically disappointed.
Start brainstorming adjectives now for your Tweets and Facebook status updates, 'cause there ain't no more tickets left to see Pulp at the Warfield, people. Tickets went on sale this morning at 10 a.m., and by 10:08, when our number got called in the online waiting room, the British band's first S.F. show since 1996 was sold. the fuck. out.
On the bright side, we're sure that everyone who bought tickets ahead of us this morning is a diehard Pulp fan, and is going to have the time of their lives on April 17, when the band detours from its two Coachella performances to play the Warfield. They weren't scalpers or robots. Nope. Not at all.
So listen to this song again, for the 247,093rd time, because unless you're rich, a dickface, a Coachella ticket holder, or really goddamn lucky*, this is as close as you're getting to Pulp in 2012. (It's not at all surprising that this show sold out so quickly, but oh, it still hurts.)
*Or unless the band adds another SF show, WHICH WE ARE RIGHT NOW ON OUR KNEES BEGGING FOR.
