Where does your head go? Crazy.

Warning: Pregnant mothers, heart patients, epileptics, and those looking to avoid another acid flashback should not watch the new video for Ty Segall's "Where Your Head Goes," one of many standout tracks from the S.F. rocker's latest album, Goodbye Bread. The video pairs the song's sludgy disposition with green-screen effects of all bewildering sort -- semi-futuristic, surprisingly, but also classically psychedelic. Considering the entire clip consists of the band performing the song in a studio (well, they at one point they all lie down on the floor), it feels like quite the tripping-balls journey. And did we mention that "Where Your Head Goes" is one of the best songs from on Segall's newest, melding a heavily stumbling verse with a soaring chorus? Compared to Segall's last video, this one is simpler, and yet more arresting. Shouts out to Segall drummer and former SF Weekly music intern Emily Rose Epstein, who is the first person you'll see when you watch this clip after the jump.
