Metallica and Lou Reed's Lulu Is Streaming in Full Right Now

Categories: New Releases

After months of waiting, a big thud came: The Great Hyperbole Engine of 2011, aka Lou Reed and Metallica's collaborative album Lulu, is streaming on the project's website right now.

As we've written before, this San Rafael-recorded project is a pretty meaty thing -- many of its songs are long as hell, and the lyrics were originally written by Reed for a Frank Wedekind play of the same name. So ensconce yourself in some quality headphones and give this thing a mostly attentive listen. The first line is at least an attention-grabber.
