Don't Relieve the Hype: Watch Two New Trailers for Lou Reed and Metallica's Lulu

We know, we know: Another day, another hype-inflating crumb of information about Lulu, the forthcoming collaboration album between Lou Reed and Metallica. Well, today, we get two new tidbits, both in the form of videos. One is a trailer that feels more like a film preview than an album teaser. (Just wait'll you see "Death"! "Suicide"! "Lust"! flash across your screen.) The other, 60-second clip has Lou Reed and Metallica's James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich talking a bit about Lulu and the hows and whys of its making and alleged awesomeness.
The soundtrack to both vids is the same section of "The View" that leaked earlier in the fall. (Is it just us, or does it get better the more ones listens to it?) So yeah, only slivers of newness here, but for those of us who're waiting maybe a bit too eagerly to hear this San Rafael-recorded collaboration, well, it's something.
