Now You Can Experience 25 Years of Bridge School Benefit Shows, All For a Good Cause

Macca at Bridge School
There are probably some music fans who have been to all 25 of the heavy-duty Bridge School Benefit shows that go down every fall at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
And while we extremely jealous of those fortuitous (or foresight-blessed) souls, now there's at least a way for the rest of us to catch up: A new two-CD, three-DVD Bridge School box set coming out at the end of October. It won't be quite as special as having seen 25 years of Neil Young's benefit shows, but it should be pretty enjoyable. Check out a taste after the jump.
The set features audio and video of some of the best Bridge School sets of all time, from the likes of the Who, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, and of course, Neil Young (who founded the Bridge School series with his wife, Pegi). Check out this teaser:
Sweet, right? The full box set comes out Oct. 24, and 100 percent of the profits will go to benefit the Bridge School. It's probably almost as good as the real thing. And if you want the real thing, this year's actual Bridge School Benefit has another fantastic two-day lineup, and goes down Oct. 22 and 23 at Shoreline.
