Dinosaur Jr. Is Going to Play Bug and Talk to Henry Rollins at the Fillmore

Dinosaur Jr.

One only complains about the bandwagon of bands playing classic albums live until the trend hits a band and an album they love. And so we bet this news will shut many of you naysayers up: In December, Dinosaur Jr. is going to perform the 1988 album Bug in its entirety at the Fillmore. And before they play it, Henry Rollins is going to interview the band members onstage.

So yeah. Naysayers, shut up. This is going to be rad.

Right? The only problem we can foresee is that no one who goes will be able to hear anything for about a week or so afterwards, because last time we saw Dinosaur Jr. they were so loud that our ears hurt so bad that we kind of hated them for a year or two. (Since then, we've discovered earplugs, but still -- this band is reeaallly loud.)

Regardless, the equation is really quite simple: Dino Jr. + Henry Rollins + Bug + the Fillmore = a special show. It goes down Dec. 15, and the tickets are on sale now. They probably won't be for long.
