Feist Comes to S.F. in November; Local Violinist Dina Maccabee Played on New Album Metals

Public service announcement: If you wanna hear that voice, that incredible voice, and hear that song -- and if, like us, you're excited by the prospect of new that songs to listen to on rainy evenings and sunny jaunts down coast-hugging roads with windows down -- take note: Feist is coming to the Warfield in November. If you want to see this, you will likely have to act soon. Presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow, and regular tickets go up for purchase Sunday.

The Nov. 14 tour stop, of course, will be in support of her upcoming album, Metals, which features contributions from none other than S.F. violinist Dina Maccabee. How do we know? Because there's an awesome video of Maccabee recording a new song with Feist in the studio. Check it out:

In case for some reason you weren't already anticipating the new Feist album, well, we're sure you are now. Congrats to Maccabee -- whom you may know from her own band, from Ramon & Jessica, and from various Seaweed Sway performances -- on the gig. And if you want to see this all happen in front of your very eyes on November 14, without a screen of some sort in between, well, prepare to act quickly.
