Treasure Island 2011 Lineup: Death Cab, Empire of the Sun to Headline

This year's Treasure Island music festival will be headlined by Empire of the Sun on Oct. 15 and Death Cab for Cutie on Oct. 16. As the headliners suggest, the first day will lean more heavily toward electronica, while the second will be more indie-rockish. This year will be the festival's fifth.

Hit the jump for the rest of the lineup, plus information on tickets and parking -- it was all announced this morning and the site has (predictably) totally crashed.

A limited number of two-day festival tickets will go on sale for $99 on Wednesday, July 27, at 10 a.m. Once they sell out, the price will increase to $115, then $125. Single-day tickets will be available for $69.50 on Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m. VIP tickets will also be available for $119.50 (single day) and $219.50 (both days).

The festival will also offer parking on Treasure Island itself for the first time, at $25 per day for a pass. Otherwise, tickets will include parking at AT&T Park's Lot A, with a shuttle to and from the island.
