Who says metal is dead? Some 13,000 fans packed into Shoreline Amphitheatre yesterday for the Rockstar Mayhem festival, a mass orgy of black eyeliner and furious moshing in support of bands like Machinehead, Testament, Trivium, and others. Our photographer Christopher Victorio braved the, uh, mayhem, and sent back these photos.
