Roach Gigz Romps Through NYC in New Kreayshawn-Directed Video for "F A Chorus"

Categories: Rap, Video, Yay Area

"I'm in New York on my tourist shit," says Roach Gigz.

"Hopefully when you see me, you won't get mad, taunts S.F. rapper Roach Gigz in "F A Chorus," the brash statement of intent from his brand-new Bitch I'm a Player EP. And he's right -- you'd better not get mad, unless he's hogging your spotlight. 'Cause if there was any doubt why Gigz is our favorite among that crop of up-and-coming Bay Area rappers -- you know, the ones who don't get written about on Complex at least once a week (too late?) -- this new EP oughta put that to rest.

This song and video have the nasal rapper spouting other memorable lines like, "I started real young, had a rubber in my diaper," while swaggering around New York's Times Square. The Kreayshawn-directed video is simple and powerful, emphasizing Gigz's rubber-band delivery and endless flow with quick, bewildering shots. Check out the video and download the new EP after the jump.

EP: Roach Gigz -- Bitch I'm a Player.

Now we all just have to sit around and wait for Gigz to do an actual track with Kreayshawn ...

I think to some readers, blog comments can be more important,

Sick!  More bad white bay area rap type stuff!  Man with the limousines and wallpaper too, yay area is really representing the style over substance corner of the clearly-white-and-overhyped market.
