Win Tickets to See Dave Nada, Canblaster, and More at SOM Bar This Friday

This Friday, local party heroes Corey Sleazemore and Eli Glad of Lights Down return with the pioneer of moombahton, Dave Nada, along with French producer Canblaster, IHEARTCOMIX label owner Franki Chan, and local DJ Deevice.

Part of the duo Nadastrom, Dave Nada has also established himself as a solo DJ/producer, most notably for the genre now known as moombahton. Recently, he released "Blow Your Head Vol. 2 : Dave Nada Presents Moombahton" on Mad Decent Records. Here's the minimix to give you a preview:

French-producer and Club Cheval resident Canblaster will also be setting the scene with his UK funky/garage/tropical sounds, along with the party-making beats of Franki Chan.

Oops I'm supposed to say WHY I want to go. I was so excited, I trigger-happily inserted my comment without thinking. Well, I've been thinking so hard this week, now I just wanna dance to some sick moobahton and uk funky and think at all!!! I will put these tickets to good use - think coordinated outfits, choreographed dance moves, glow-in-the-dark nipple tassels, party hats, party pants, tankinis, etc.

So, my brother has been getting into the dj-party scene, poor baby is not yet of 21 age, and just started getting into MOOMBAHTON, he recently played it at an all ages party & let's just say, these kids didn't even know what hit 'um! I went to my first Lights Down Low with Dave Nada + DJ Blaqstarr + DJ Fame way back when it was at 222 hyde. Millions of years later, he's back with the amazing Canblaster + Frankie Chan?!! Holy crap. Moombah-core-2-dub-rave-madness WILL ensue. I'll the guy at the end of the night looking for my shirt and left shoe. Also, if SOM had a rug I'd cut it.
