Adele Is Coming Back, But Now You Must Choose: Greek Theatre Or Outside Lands?

"Pick me!"

Anyone sick of hearing "Britney's back, bitch"? We didn't think so (who can tire of good old-fashioned alliteration?), but that doesn't mean we should forget that poor, sick Adele has been gone. First, we announced in April that the British R&B superstar would be taking her act to the Greek Theatre in Berkeley instead of the Warfield as originally planned. Then, just three weeks ago, perhaps Adele was rolling in the deep a little too much (whatever that means), because a mean bout of laryngitis caused her to cancel her June 4 performance along with the rest of her North American tour. But now, you can stop choking on your tears every time you reach that line that goes, "We could have had it all." She's all yours again, Bay Area concertgoers. Well, almost.

Adele has rescheduled her Greek Theatre performance for Saturday, Aug. 15. All previously purchased tickets will be honored, while everyone else can buy them for $32.50 to $65. We hope she's feeling better -- although we sorta expect a speedy recovery from a woman whose single will just not let up on the radio.

But there's a conundrum. There's now a very painful, difficult choice to be made. Rejoice in her comeback, or attend Outside Lands? You read right. If you see Adele, you'll miss much of Saturday's Outside Lands lineup, including one or (possibly) more of the headliners: Arcade Fire, Muse, and/or Phish. But, if you go to Outside Lands, you could miss Adele. Only Charlie Sheen could make a winning situation out of this one.

Why, Adele, why? We could have had it all!

Fact check: August 15 is Monday, not Saturday, and Adele's rescheduled concert is Sunday, August 14.
