Tonight's Dredg Show at Great American Music Hall Canceled

Categories: Canceled Shows

Dredg: Not talking much at dinner tonight.

Update: The canceled Dredg show is now just a free show by opener the Trophy Fire. Anyone can come, no ticket required. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show is at 8.

Bad news: Due to the sudden and last-minute loss of singer Gavin Hayes' voice, tonight's Dredg show at Great American Music Hall show has been canceled. It looks like it will be rescheduled, but a new date isn't yet set.

The Los Gatos-born band posted this on its Facebook page:

We are postponing tonight's show in San Francisco due to Gavin loosing his voice. It's so bad he can't even talk. We apologize to anyone who was coming to the show. We will make it up by coming back through.

There's talk of another show instead tonight at Great American Music Hall, but nothing is confirmed. We'll let you know if we hear more. (See above -- tour opener the Trophy Fire is playing instead for free.) Dredg is touring in support of its fifth album, Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy, which was released on Tuesday.

It is always very hectic to hear that a show has been cancelled specially you have planned to move by cancelling all your activities. reschedule the show will bring as much public as it could bring at first announced date although reason is a genuine and serious.
