See Thee Oh Sees' Frontman John Dwyer's Photo Show at the Rite Spot Starting Tomorrow

What's it like to see the world through the eyes of a touring musician? Probably largely the same as seeing the world through the eyes of a touring non-musician, unless we're talking about Stevie Wonder or something, but why would you even say such a thing? Too soon.

For almost two months beginning tomorrow at the Rite Spot on Folsom, you can see a show of photos taken by the trusty Holga of John Dwyer, frontman of Thee Oh Sees (as well as the late Pink and Brown, as well as Coachwhips, who have a great Myspace URL, etc.). You are intrigued, are you not? Here's a Facebook invitation about it.

Said invite doesn't offer much in the way of appetite-whetters, but it does promise a peek into "this highly observant man's view of life on the road and at home in the Bay Area." Here's hoping it'll be something like this video, only in still-photograph format and with more cat photos.

Things will kick off with an opening reception tomorrow from 5 to 8 p.m., and the show will remain up until June 11. And don't you think it's high time you paid a visit to the Rite Spot anyway?
