This evening, Bay Area hip-hopper extraordinaire and surprisingly capable singer* Lyrics Born plays a tribute to James Brown and Curtis Mayfield at Yoshi's S.F. For this show, called "Continuum," he'll have his live band (full horn section, etc.) on hand to tackle some of the greatest funk and R&B songs ever written. And how will it sound?
