Death Cab For Cutie Premieres Single-Take Music Video on Ustream Today
Point is, there's a new Death Cab For Cutie album called Codes and Keys coming out at the end of May, and from the sounds of the lead single/next step in Gibbard's second-person psychological profiling campaign, "You Are A Tourist," it's gonna be good. Maybe not Photo Album-era good, but these things happen. (See what I did there? It's really complex work being a hipst -- um, music blogger.)
More immediately important: today at 4 p.m. PST, you can tune into local media powerhouse/vicarious eagle hatchery Ustream to watch as Gibbard and company make a video for "Tourist," which they claim will be "the first live, scripted, one-take music video. Ever." What's it going to be like? No idea. Maybe something Easter-themed?
