Hey, that monthly Low End Theory party
at 103 Harriet
is pretty fun, amiright? Good music, loud speakers, and a small nation's worth of people running wild. Well, don't forget that it's gonna be back next Friday, April 1, with special guests Nosaj Thing
Following up last month's monster set from Flying Lotus is no easy task, but Nosaj Thing is a worthy challenger. The L.A. producer has an atmospheric, streamlined sound that's as smooth as it is nuanced and complex. First listens give off the impression that it's mellow music, but midway through a track you're nodding your head without even realizing that it went from zero to sixty.
Also performing is Dibiase, whose 8-bit influenced beats have the ability to win over any crowd. Add in another appearance from Jel, Asura, and Jon Hopkins -- along with the usual residents Daddy Kev, D-Styles, Gaslamp Killer, Nobody, and Nocando -- and this month's party is shaping up to be as promising as the previous two.
As usual, the event goes from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. at 103 Harriet, and presale tickets are available at 1015.com
