Flying Lotus aside, Matthewdavid threw together the best set at Low End Theory SF this past weekend. The experimental L.A. producer's digital tweaking and warping of analog source material makes for a sound that's pretty next level. And now that his International EP is out, he's put together a video for the title track that matches the aesthetic of his sound.

"International" starts out sounding like a jumbled mess of noise, which is no doubt compounded by the disorienting, VHS-like visuals on screen. Then it settles into a rhythm of echoing, off-kilter drums, warbly samples, and beautiful, ghostly vocals from the likeminded Atlanta musician Dog Bite. But not wanting to overstay its welcome, the track ends almost as quickly as it started, leaving you wanting more.

The International EP is out now on Brainfeeder, and his debut album, Outmind, comes out next month.
