So this local rock 'n' roller named Ty Segall, whom we're kind of into, is putting out a live album. Recorded last July during a sold-out show at Amnesia -- the one-year anniversary party for Southpaw records, in fact -- Live In Aisle Five captures Segall at his most frantic, playing 13 songs, including two covers. It was recorded by Segall pal Eric Bauer, the same guy responsible for assembling the sonic chaos of Segall's Melted -- one of our favorite albums of 2010. Southpaw is only pressing 1,000 copies of this live album, all of them on vinyl, which you can preorder here. (The first 200 copies are on colored vinyl, in case that's a deal-sweetener for ya.)
