Montreal's Ango
The local Frite Nite label has been on the rise in the electronic world over the last few years thanks to solid releases from the likes of B. Bravo, Epcot, and NastyNasty. Last month, the label has launched its Frite Night Trax series, offering free downloads from up-and-coming producers worthy of your eartime.

The most recent installment comes courtesy of Ango, who delivers a tropical jam titled "Part Time." The Montreal producer wrangles a booming kick, lo-fi snare, cowbells, maracas, and a woozy synthline into a dance track with heavy latin-american influence. Starting slow, the track takes its time opening up, but when it gets going, all the different sounds coalesce into something nice.

Also included is the remix from label boss Salva, who takes a spookier, more atmospheric approach to the track, but matches the original in quality. Frite Nite Trax #3, and the previous two releases, are all available via Frite Nite's site.
