Label To Know: Yours Truly Launches Love Letters Ink

The rising San Francisco tastemakers at Yours Truly have their fingers in a lot of pies. They stay up on the hot musical trends, have a hand in producing videos seen across the country, and coax special performances from acts of all vintages, usually accompanied by a handwritten letter from the artist to a friend, a relative, an influence...

And now the Yours Truly crew is starting a label, fittingly enough calling it Love Letters Ink. Expect releases as diverse as you'll see on the site's now showing lineup (currently featuring Scottish twee-poppers Camera Obscura and North Carolina free-hopper J. Cole), plus impeccably designed artwork and packaging. The label's first release will be The Wuz Here Sessions, out in February, a collaboration between up-and-coming Mississippi rapper (or should we say "rasper"? No, "rapper" is fine) Big K.R.I.T. and San Francisco's own neo-soul outfit Grillade.
