Sarah Johnston, an aerial dancer working under the name Agent Red, broke both arms and fractured her skull after she fell during a performance at the Sea of Dreams party at S.F.'s Concourse Exhibition Center last week.
Video inadvertently taken of the accident shows Johnston finishing a trick on a ring suspended high above the crowd. She appears to grasp the ring on the way down, but her fingers quickly slip off, and she falls out of the frame. That video, which shows her performance and fall but not her landing, is below.
Information about Johnston's fall was found on this posting on her website. Messages to Johnston and the promoters of Sea of Dreams have so far not been returned.

Johnston is a professional aerial dancer and teacher apparently based in Los Angeles and Austin who has performed alongside Bassnectar, the String Cheese Incident, Devendra Banhart, and many more musicians.
She's asking for help to cover medical costs related to the accident. Her website also mentions plans for benefit events in Austin, L.A., and San Francisco.
We'll keep you informed as we learn more about this.
