What Music Fans Would Avoid If BART Ran Later

Yeah, we'd probably see some more of this.
Hey, club- and concert-goers: someday you may not have to leave weekend events early to get back to the side of the bay on which you live!

By which we mean that BART is considering the possibility of running trains later on the weekends, partially for music fans like us.

Just think of all the awful things you'd get to avoid it Bart ran well into the wee hours, instead of ending just after midnight:

If you live in S.F.:

-- obviously, missing the end of that show at the New Parish, the Uptown, the Fox, the Stork Club, 21 Grand (R.I.P. to shows there, but still), or any of the increasing number of worthy, late-running East Bay venues.

-- swerving your way across the Bay Bridge after your drunk ass stupidly decided to drive when you clearly shouldn't have.

-- sleeping on the couch/bed/kitchen floor of your weird ex-girlfriend/smelly former college roommate/parents.

-- having to learn the Oakland bus system.

--- suffering the horrible fate of ending a night on the town without a Mission burrito.

-- trying to find a parking place after midnight in San Francisco.

If you live in the East Bay:

-- having to run, yell at taxi drivers, or sweat blood on immobile Muni while you impatiently travel from whatever venue/club to BART.

-- obviously, missing the end of that show at Bottom of the Hill, Rickshaw Stop, Amnesia, or any of the other S.F. venues where shows go past midnight (as well as pretty much every club).

-- swerving your way across the Bay Bridge after your drunk ass stupidly decided to drive when you clearly shouldn't have.

-- having to crash between the toilet and the dog on the tile/hardwood/cement of your friend's cramped and frigid S.F. studio/warehouse/dorm room/alleyway.

So, what BART-stranding post-show experiences would you love to never have again?
