All the Black Lips' mayhem can be yours, free -- egg nog optional.
​This latest show-as-free-advertising at least has good taste -- and we're talking about the bands, people, not the booze. (Nothing against rum; sorry, Maroon 5!) Sailor Jerry is paying your way to a good-ol' garage-rock slam with Atlanta feist-dogs the Black Lips, S.F. freaks Thee Oh Sees, and East Bay leather-lovers Bare Wires. The free-for-all (ahem!) goes down right in the midst of Christmas party season, so best clear your schedule ahead of time.

The triple garage-threat happens Saturday, December 11, at what the concert poster (see below) calls "SF Works" -- which, curiously, has the exact same address (161 Erie St.) as one SF Public Works, a newly established gathering place for beat-slinging deejays and their devotees. Hmmmmmmm....

You rock kids can help break in that springy new hardwood dance floor for the price of a handful of pocket lint -- all ya gotta do is RSVP here. Mayhem begins at 8 p.m. No word on whether there'll be egg nog to go with all that rum, but here's hoping.
