Listen to a Mini-Mix of Lazer Sword's Upcoming Debut Album

Lazer Sword
Stop us if you've heard enough, but we've got even more to share with you from the long-overdue debut record by the San Francisco ex-pats of Lazer Sword. We're only a couple weeks away from the release date of Low Limit's and Lando Kal's Lazer Sword album (it'll be available on November 2 through Innovative Leisure), but the boys were kind enough to give us a more in-depth taste of what that long-player holds in the form of a mini-mix of the whole record.

Amidst enjoyably non-sequitur samples (like the infamous "Congratulations! You won!" spam message) and other crafty audio blips, brief snippets of Lazer Sword's 15-track record are delivered at the production duo's whim. There's a lot of floating space noise, woozy synth sounds, ultra-slick basslines, massive dancefloor grooves, varied vocal performances, and more energetic turbo-crunk/lazer-bass/whatchamacallit trademarks in the six-and-a-half-minute teaser. You can listen to that whirlwind of electronics and beat work here. And if you want more, download a brand-new remix of Lazer Sword's "I'm Gone," which features Bay Area hyphy icon Turf Talk, by UK producer Rustie, here.
