Download a Tom Tom Club Remix Before It Plays Great American Friday

If you don't know the husband-and-wife duo's old-school hit "Genius of Love," you're sure to know its catchy melody from the Mariah Carey single that sampled it, "Fantasy." Well, that hook is nowhere to be found on this remix of Tom Tom Club's classic song by Beastie Boys keyboardist Money Mark. His version of "Love" relies more on acoustic guitars, harmonicas, strange sound effects, and loads of different synth sounds. It's not quite as funky or catchy as the original tune, but there is at least one advantage to Money Mark's version: You can understand the vocals a whole hell of a lot better.
