You were scared there for a while, weren't you? You checked the tour dates on the Arcade Fire's web site a while back, saw that the last ones scheduled were for the East Coast and Europe, and worried that the band would neglect to play out here on the West Coast anytime soon -- that it might take many months before coming to a state where, I feel qualified to say, we certainly know a thing or two about the suburbs.
Be relieved. Today the the Arcade Fire announced a show at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on October 2, and a show at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur on October 5. Tickets for the Greek show go on sale next weekend (August 22). Do we have to tell you that seeing the Arcade Fire at the Greek Theater will most likely be, um, crazy awesome? We'll tell you anyway: crazy-awesome. As three members explain in this video interview with Terry Gilliam (see it after the jump), it's one of the band's favorite places to play as well.
