Official Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Lineup: Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst, Patti Smith, Joan Baez

​A few weeks back we posted a sneak-peek at the lineup for this year's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, which looked pretty cool. Today, the official lineup for the festival's 10th anniversary was released and, well, it looks even better than we were expecting. The festival runs October 1-3 in Golden Gate Park. It is of course free, thanks to the generosity of founder/billionaire/banjo picker Warren Hellman.

Check out this sampling of the lineup:

Elvis Costello & the Sugarcanes
Patti Smith
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings
Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band
The Avett Brothers
Kinky Friedman
Fountains of Wayne
Richard Thompson

The full lineup of course includes usual suspects like  Emmylou Harris and Earl Scruggs. Check it out on the Hardly Strictly website.
