Ty Segall
Armed with a meaty backing band, San Francisco garage-psych wunderkind Ty Segall is now on the rise nationally. But Segall got his start playing as a one-man-band around town, wowing audiences with a demonstration of just how much noise one dude can muster. Tonight, Segall returns to those roots in a solo show at Milk. Segall plays a lot around town -- we're stoked to remind you that he's playing July 25 at our All Shook Down festival in North Beach -- but it's usually with a full band. So tonight's one-man-band show is kind of, like, special. And Segall's not the only attraction at Milk -- S.F.'s Weekend are bringing their tasty, pop-tinted shoegaze to Milk's backroom stage as well. Terry Malts (post-punk) and Whirl (shoegaze/punk) round out tonight's bill.
