Remix The Glitch Mob's 'Drive It Like You Stole It' in New Contest

Possibly one of the biggest names to emerge from L.A.'s hip-hop-indebted, electronic beat scene (other than Flying Lotus, of course), The Glitch Mob released its debut album, Drink the Sea, towards the end of May, after years spent producing one-off tracks and remixes. The record has seemed to attract the attention of music lovers across the board, (including the likes of Paris Hilton, surprisingly enough), and now you budding bedroom beatsmiths can take a whack at remixing one of the outfit's new tracks.

Over on The Glitch Mob's website, you can download the separated elements of the first Drink single, "Drive It Like You Stole It," for you to chop, screw, twist, tweak, warp, and dismember to your heart's content. You can't use any illegal samples or anything else not outlined in the rules and regulations of the Remix It Like You Stole It contest, but the pristine audio files offered should be more than enough to get you started on an inspired reinterpretation of the energetic number. There will be two winners of the contest, who will be decided by one of two ways: either their remix gets "favorited" most on the SoundCloud page, or The Glitch Mob simply likes the magic of the new track.
