​In the print section this week, Dan Weiss finds out why Ariel Pink is happy to discuss his personal finances but not his personal life, and discovers the dude has a penchant for saying too much. Meanwhile, David MacFadden-Elliott talks to longtime Paul McCartney Band guitarist Rusty Anderson about how he encountered Paul, and what it's like to play with towering musical figures like the ex-Beatle, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, and Santana. Oh -- and our Tamara Palmer heard straight from the Jacka himself that his Bay-born rap group Mob Figaz are trying to balance a street edge with their spiritual (read: Muslim) side.

Lastly: make yourself aware of the Donkeys and Deerhoof playing at Bottom of the Hill Thursday (if you're lucky enough to have tickets -- it's way sold out), and the Ghostly International electronic showcase with Mux Mool and others thumping Mezzanine on Friday.
