Another Morning Benders Treat from Yours Truly: 'Stitches'

Earlier this year, San Francisco videographers Yours Truly posted a sublime clip of the Morning Benders performing "Excuses," the gorgeous opener to their current album Big Echo, along with dozens of friends at Different Fur studios in the Mission. Today, the site features a second video of the Morning Benders and Co. shot that same day, this time of the room-filling group performing "Stitches." While this song doesn't spiral upwards in the same grand way as "Excuses," it certainly makes a case for the quieter moments in the Morning Benders' dream-pop -- and for bringing, oh, about two dozen people into the recording studio.
In other Morning Benders news, the group just announced a headlining show at the Fillmore on October 16. On New Years' Eve 2009 -- before the release of the lauded Big Echo -- the band headlined Bottom of the Hill. So you could say it's been a pretty good year for these Berkeley kids.
