Free Tickets to Birds & Batteries at the Rickshaw Stop

After touring for the past month and making a name for themselves at SXSW, Birds & Batteries have returned home. Hard to categorize, their music has been called alt-country garage, fuzzy synth psych, or electronic pop, and with their latest EP, Up To No Good, they continue to defy genre. Self-proclaimed "a spooky-funky adventure," the EP is heavily influenced by Bowie's Scary Monsters, P-Funk, and John Carpenter films.
Co-headlining with Oakland natives Judgment Day, they'll bring their electro-funk psychedelic Americana to The Rickshaw Stop on May 28th, and All Shook Down has a pair of tickets for the first reader who comments on how they'd categorize Birds & Batteries (but only 'cause you have to).
