Exclusive: DJ Mini-Mix from DJ Conor

DJ Conor seems to be a straightforward guy in both musical tastes and DJ style. His moniker behind the turntables is as simple as it can be (it's just his first name), and the classic disco records he schleps from venue to venue are the purest funky grooves of their kind. This Friday, Conor takes a break from his usual residency at No Way Back to help bring to life the 7th Heaven Roller Disco this Friday, May 28 at Mezzanine.

Conor put together this super quick mix on a charitable whim, so we might get a better feel for what he'll be throwing down this weekend. On his mix he said, "I selected and mixed these tracks specifically with the Roller Disco party in mind. All of the songs would be (to me) appropriate roller disco records. About the recording, the mix was recorded late last evening the old fashioned way: with two turntables, a mixer (a Bozak CMA-10-2DL), and vinyl. No fancy pants CDs, laptops, or iPods were used to make this mix." And we certainly wouldn't have it any other way.
