Vinyl's Hidden Messages Unmasked

Public Collectors is working on a really cool project that spotlights a small detail of what's being lost amongst so many invisible MP3s. The site is making a list of the messages bands have "pressed into the matrix of their vinyl" over the years. Apparently these little notes appear near the label at the center of the record (see the image above), and so far Public Collectors' findings are very entertaining.
Alongside subliminal lines from the Clash, Shellac, Soundgarden, Run DMC, and a host of other names both legendary and underground, a couple Bay Area artists made the cut. (Apparently the Dead Kennedys were really into carving these famous last words into their recordings). The locals on Messages in the Matrices of Records:
