Free Tickets to Bad Lieutenant (ex-New Order)

Categories: Free Tickets

From Joy Division came New Order, and from New Order's ashes we have Bad Lieutenant, the latest music project from Bernard Sumner, who started the act back in 2007. Here he teams up again with former New Order bandmates, guitarist Phil Cunningham (who played in a later version of the band), and drummer Stephen Morris, who has played with Sumner since the good ol' days of Joy Division.

In April, Bad Lieutenant makes its US debut right here in San Francisco: the band performs a warm up show for Coachella at the Regency Ballroom on April 16. If you'd like to hear the group live (the lineup is rounded out by bassist Tom Chapman and vocalist Jake Evans), be the first two people to comment on your favorite New Order song, and a pair of tickets could be yours. (In other words, we're giving away two pairs of tickets).

Obviously, I have about 100,000 favorite NO songs, but let me be somewhat original and choose "Round & Round" from 1989 Technique. That's what got me on the hook in the first place. Or, as far as the "recent" stuff is considered (is 2005 recent?), the absolutely awesome "Who's Joe?" and "Turn" from Waiting For The Sirens' Call.
