Mos Def to Perform at Haiti Benefit at the Independent on Wed

​You'd be forgiven for thinking that Mos Def moved to the Bay Area recently. The emcee comes to town--last weekend, to perform at the Shattuck Down Low--and announces he'll be here through part of this week as well. Def is headlining a benefit for Haiti relief at the Independent on Wednesday night, a show that includes Jay Electronica and Big Von. Tickets are $39.50.
