Top Local DJs Throwing Giant Haiti Benefit

At a time when Haiti is suffering from both looting and aftershocks, San Franciscans are coming together for a second week of fundraising benefits. These special shows are two-fold: chances to donate money to a country that will need aid for years to come, and opportunities to experience a night out with performers and DJs who haven't shared a stage together for years, if ever.

On January 30, Mezzanine is hosting a huge benefit stocked with the city's top pop/electro DJ talent coming from the top local promoter pools (what one of my coworkers here has tagged half-jokingly "Hipsters for Haiti"). On deck that night: Bad Neighbors, Eric Sharp, Disco Shawn, Jeffrey Paradise, Nisus, Omar, Richie Panic, Shane King, Sleazemore, Sticky K, Tenderlions (DJ set), and White Girl Lust. The party will be hosted by Trackademiks, and 100% of the $10-$15 entrance fee will go to the Red Cross.
