The classy Natoma St. cocktail lounge John Collins is moving from one SOMA alley to another. This Saturday, Jan. 16, is the bar's last night at its current 90 Natoma location, and they're spending the weekend offering happy hour prices all day and night until they have to shut the operation down. Come Jan. 21, John Collins will reopen its doors right down the street from 111 Minna, at 138 Minna.

Speaking of 111 Minna, that venue lost one of its long-standing happy hour parties. Qoöl announced that after 15 years of post-work DJ revelry at the gallery-bar, their weekly "clubbing happy hour" has run its course. Its founders Jondi & Spesh will be using the brand they've built to venture into other areas of San Francisco nightlife.

Another weekly club night, Bionic, has found a home at 222 Club. (The electronic/house party was Sunday nights at the Triple Crown for a while).
