All-Star Jam Possible at Post-Black Crowes Show Afterparty

​I got a call from musician/promoter Jimmy Leslie, who hinted that tonight's Duane Allman tribute show at the Boom Boom Room will be more than your typical covers night. With the Black Crowes show happening right next door at the Fillmore, you never know who the "Super Special Allstar Guests" will be, but Leslie did drop the name Luther Dickinson (who plays guitar in the Crowes and is best known for heading up North Mississippi All Stars). Leslie suggests that jam band fans best make it to the Boom Boom Room for the Southern rock homage, which kicks off at 7 p.m. and could snowball with lots of "killer sit-ins" after the Crowes show lets out.
