If you're like us, you've been hitting up the racks at Forever 21 more than you'd like to admit. And maybe after you've shown up wearing the same outfit as your cubicle mate for the third time in a row (like we have), you've finally realized that it's time to add more "curated" pieces to your wardrobe. ​ For under $10 ($8 if you RSVP) you can peruse over 100 indie designers at Threadshow SF. Held at the Fort Mason Center, the two-day event (Saturday and Sunday) will feature eco-friendly fashion, runway shows, and, for those of us addicted to sampling Sephora on our lunch break, something called a "Style Lounge" where you can get your hair and make up done for free (our favorite word).

And yes you can actually like spend money and buy things, but if you're a fellow cheapo, the most intriguing part of Threadshow is the "clothing swap," where from 11am-1pm each day you can bring in 10 items of your own trash and trade them out for someone else's treasure. And, in the off chance you're planning on bringing over anything by Manolo Blahnik, we wear a size nine.
