Update: Chilling New Details Emerge in Syko Sam Horrorcore Murders Case
Satanic Killer? Syko Sam aka LilDemonDog
New revelations have come to light in the case of "Skyo Sam" McCroskey, the 20 year-old Castro Valley wanna-be rapper, graphic designer, and alleged Santanic cultist, accused of murdering four people in Virginia last week, including his girlfriend, her best friend and her parents, a professor and a priest.
Virginia law enforcement authorities have determined the four were killed by blunt force trauma. News reports have also described McCrosky's seemingly calm behavior in the immediate aftermath of the murders; despite encountering law enforcement officers on two occasions, once at the victim's house, and once while driving a car belonging to one of the victims, McCroskey was not arrested until after the bodies were discovered, a day later.
A truck driver who gave McCroskey a ride and made small talk with him after the murders described the youth as having an odor consistent with rotting flesh. "He stunk like the devil," the driver told the Associated Press.
Despite reports that he was bullied, McCroskey's sister has described him as "a quiet kid who got along with everybody." Before deciding to become a horrorcore rapper a few months ago, McCroskey apparently spent large amounts of time in his room, playing violent video games and listing to heavy metal and horrorcore music. His alter-ego, Syko Sam, made numerous references in his music to "evil" voices in his head advising him to "murder continuously" and "take lives on a killing spree." A YouTube video shows McCroskey bragging about defiling graves.
But those aren't the most disturbing details to emerge in this macabre case. According to Paul Calcagno, McCroskey was part of a Satanic cult who engaged in ritual music videos and idolized David Berkowitz, the 1970s NYC serial killer who called himself "the Son of Sam." Calcagno is the author of a blog in which he describes meeting Syko Sam in 2006: "As a result of my personal experience with Sam and his affiliated "Horror Core" rap artists, I believe that New Mexico Rap Label "Serial Killing Records" is behind the grisly mass murder. Basically, I was an actor in one of their music videos. In the video they killed a priest, a Rabbi, a Muslim Cleric, and the Pope. Sam McCrosky killed a PASTOR IN REAL LIFE (Virginia pastor, Mark Niederbrock. )"
In the video, SickTanick kills the clergymen one by one by slitting their throats, masturbates onto a magazine, and is sexually serviced by a chained woman. The video also shows what appears to be the same woman committing suicide twice, by slitting her wrists in a bathtub and jumping off a building.
According to Calcagno, "the video was actually a Satanic ritual itself. The filmmakers were all members of the Church of Satan (they showed me the red membership cards)."
He also embellishes the connections between Berkowitz and McCroskey, who also went by the name Lil Demon Dog -- a reference to Berkowitz' insistence that he took his killing orders from a demon dog named "Sam." He also alleges that Serial Killin' Records honcho "Sicktanik and company often joked that if any of them were to go out and "pull a Manson", that they should "blame it on Jesus," before pointing out that McCroskey allegedly told a reporter "Jesus told me to do it" following his arrest.
Although SickTanic has claimed his music was simply a form of expression, his MySpace blog lists his "experience in the world of the occult," which he claims sets him apart from other "Satanic Rap" artists. On it, he says he has conducted both Satanic Baptisms and Satanic Masses. Creepy.
More details have also emerged about the victims and the lifestyle they and McCroskey engaged in, which apparently included heavy doses of sex, drugs, and occult practices. A comment posted Monday on "LilDemondog"'s YouTube channel by "XxKinkySuicidexX" appears to reference Emma Niederbrock, McCroskey's 16 year-old girlfriend, who was among the victims: "i dont know what to think... i thought u loved her... u said u loved me 2.. u would of killed Me too wouldent you?! you had the chance u had the oppertunitys Why them? i dont understand!? "
Hauntingly, several messages from Melanie Wells on "LilDemonDog"'s MySpace page make references to the concert she attended with McCroskey before her death, excitedly referencing afterparties "in multiple hotel rooms." On June 9th, Wells wrote, "I can't wait to get druuuuunk."
Melanie Wells' MySpace page--which has been filled with poignant tributes from friends in the past few days-- describes her as an "SKR Unholy Disciple" - a reference to SickTanick's Serial Killin' Records, who McCroskey allegedly promoted for. She also calls herself a believer in "Laveyan Satanism," notes "McDonalds, cigarettes, caffeine and drugs keep me alive and healthy," lists her interests as including "blood and gore, open graves, dead people, animals"
and proclaims, "I'm a sinner and I repent not."
Wells' site also lists a poem, in which she fantasizes about killing a cheating lover: You're screaming and bleeding lying on the floor

It's going deeper and deeper, your life is slowly fading

I think the majority of blame falls on the shoulders of McCroskey and not the music, but the music does show something about your character. John Lennon writes music and lyrics about things he believes, things that mean something to him, things about his life. This is America, a nation still reeling from religiously motivated terrorism.
A nation under attack by Militant Islam and its adherents who want to kill American Christians; to chop off heads and butcher people in the name of their religion.
The terrorists and suicide bombers we read about in the papers and watch on the news are trained in specific ways. They are indoctrinated with hate for the West. They are taught that "infidels" are worthy of death and worse. They are convinced that they are god's chosen people and that they are carrying out His will.
They intimidate us with videotaped beheadings. They chant their religious prayers as they kill our people. They wear masks, brandish blades and guns, and make it clear that they are reveling in the powerful feelings their barbaric rites give them.
Yet, their extremist snuff films are not considered "art" nor would their bloody video manifestos be protected in America under the guise of "free speech." None of this should surprise any of you because you know the reality of what such extremists are capable of.
But here are my questions to you:
a) Would you BUY their Terrorist Propaganda videos?
b) Would you learn to chant their death-cult prayers, and perhaps put posters of the killers on your bedroom walls?
c) Would you approve of their messages if it involved the rape, murder, and torture of American Christians?
Of course my questions are rhetorical. The answer is YES to all of the above. You certainly do already. The "Horror Core" genre of music, specifically from Serial Killin Records is exactly the same thing. It's not protected speech. It's not art. It goes way beyond that.
HORROR CORE RAP = TERRORIST PROPAGANDA.
It's not just shock-rock anymore. That line was crossed a long time ago. How much more killing is it going to take before America realizes that the rap/hip-hop culture is a homicidal culture?
These so-called artists are terrorists in our own back yards, starting to creep out of their dirt holes and basements into places like Oakland, Richmond, and San Francisco. They are coming to the burbs like San Jose, Walnut Creek, Petaluma, San Rafael, etc. Places that were traditionally safe will no longer be safe due to this urban terrorist invasion.
"DOCTRINES OF THE DAMNED"
The murderer Sam McCroskey is not a lone nut killer. He killed a priest, a professor, and two teenage girls for his cult-gang known as Serial Killin Records. They dubbed him their "Unholy Apostle" for a reason. He was following orders, taken right out of SKR's teachings, their "Doctrines of the Damned."
Serial Killin Records ownder Andreas Shrim, aka "Sicktanic", taught Sam McCroskey how to serve the gang. Internet videos show the drug use, the alcohol, and the gang indoctrination. It's obvious that they are all in on the killings. Just look at these Horror Core musicians, with their gang tattoos, their drug use, and their self-mutilation. Examine their portrayals of violence against clergy and women. Their bold, murderous statements are open declarations of intent to kill those they see as "infidels".
RELIGIOUSLY MOTIVATED TERRORISM
The rappers on Serial Killin Records are ZEALOTS.
They are avowed Satanists. It is most definitely NOT just a matter of shock-art or stage antics.
They openly endorse the practice of Satanic Rituals right out of the Satanic Bible.
Andreas Shrim taught Sam McCrosky to be like the "Son of Sam" Dave Berkowitz, which is how McCroskey got his stage name "Syko Sam." Incidentally, Sicktanic dubbed McCroskey the "Lil Demon Dog" as a further reference to Dave Berkowitz who took orders from a "demon dog" named "Sam."
In a music video entitled "In Tha Name Of," the rappers behead Christians. The video is shot in a room designed to resemble the apartment of David Berkowitz.
Get the idea?
This rap label put McCroskey up to the killings. They bragged about it in advance with their lyrics, imagery, and personal statements. The evidence bears this out and as long as you pour your money and your lives into this twisted, anti-Christian hate-speech, you are sponsoring terrorists.

Necro is the best horrorcore rapper by far. This scene was started in part by RZA from Wu-Tang Clan while he was a part of the Gravediggaz. In regards to the killings, why not justify the Christian Crusades? and without the Bible's Revelations chapter, touting a return of Christ and the saving of humanity only after an Apocalypse/Anti-christ scenario, maybe these "bad people" wouldn't think they are a necessary part in this plan. First and foremost, my thoughts are with the families of those that have been slain. It's truly unfortunate that their lives have been taken prematurely.
With this being said, I would like to address the Syko Sam Horrorcore Murders in Virginia.
Horrorcore is a genre of music, just like rap, rock, country, blue, jazz, classical etc... It is for entertainment purposes only. In no way does it suggest that humans should go out and murder other humans. Yes the lyrics in this genre of music is racy, provocative, violent, and crude, it is meant to be shocking, terrifying, and horrific. There was a recent interview with Horrorcore Rapper, Marz, where he simply said. Whatever happened to people just being crazy? Americans are always trying to find something to blame instead of the individual. The media that people user for entertainment has always been in the spotlight as an excuse for people to come to terms with violent happenings. This is simply absurd. Already activists are chomping at the oppurtunity to crush the horrorcore genre in lieu of the Syko Sam killings. Lets just pretend that we accept the idea that music, movies, and other media is responsible these atrocious acts of violence, and that it would be a good idea to do away with the genre all together. Ok, now, lets take that same idea and apply it to other aspects of everyday American life say for instance... religion. More atrocities have been committed in the name of religion than all other combined. To deny that would be asinine and imbecilic. So, with the same thought process should we do away with religion all together? Perhaps we should. I would be comfortable with that. However as Americans, people like to pic and choose what should and shouldn't acceptable according to their own personal likes and dislikes.
While we are on the subject of "religion". A lot of people are blaming this on "Satanism". I think that the stigma of the word satanism has a lot of people fooled about what satanism really is. Without getting too deep into the subject, let me just say that, satanism has nothing to do with any anthropomorphical being or deity. Satanism is about self indulgence, being your own god, making yourself happy while still keeping others' well being in mind. I think that many people would find themselves to be more "satanic" than they would really like to admit. Try reading the satanic bible, if not only for the first 3 chapters.
McCroskey had some mental issues that he needed to work out. Horrorcore didn't make McCroskey a psychopath. Society and environmental surroundings probably played the biggest role in his breakdown. If you are looking for someone to blame, blame his family, and ultimately blame Sam himself. He is the only person responsible for his actions. (At least until further details emerge)
In conclusion, America, stop being so damned simple-minded. Think logically before you go and blame everyone and everything.

People are going to persecute whatever crowd the suspect belongs to in instances like these. We had someone shoot a bunch of ravers at an afterparty up here a few years ago and all of a sudden people attacked the rave scene with violence rumors. THE RAVE SCENE, where the foundation of what they believe in is P.L.U.R. = Peace, love, unity, and respect. Perhaps you should concentrate on good things. Trying to dissect the bad and nasty will get you nowhere. Okay, horrorcore is not terrorist propaganda. Terrorists actually kill people, and not just christians. Not everyone on the planes or in the world trade centers on 9/11 was a christian or a member of any other religion for that matter.
Music is art, regardless as to if YOU like it or not. No one really cares about you. Every single person on this planet lives for themselves and their own personal interests.
I mean obviously this guy was fucked up, in one way or another. But you can't blame the music that he listened to for the crimes he committed. He could have liked country music, they could have been going to a bluegrass festival and he still would have done what he did.
And Insane Clown Posse (I.C.P.) which is probably one of the most widely known horrorcore groups openly admitted in one of their most recent albums that they actually DO believe in god. Some people just have an interest in things that are morbid. If you read a book on serial killers does that mean you are one? hell no. Just that you have interest in them, their crimes, or what drove them to/motivated them to commit such horrible acts. No one could have deserved the death these four people faced. And the death of a child is a horrible thing for any parent to have to endure. My deepest sympathies go out to the families of the victims, and I hope that people can accept the situation for what it really is. Blame who is guilty - the man, not the music.
