Track of the Day: Mad Rad

​Last weekend I was up in Seattle, where folks were heaping mad praise on their local party rock trio Mad Rad. These four dudes (Terry Radjaw, Buffalo Madonna, P Smoov, and DJ/hypeman Darwin) are laid back like Andrew W.K. is laid back, their hyper antics and keyboard-driven mayhem inciting dance riots in rock clubs. The music's a jumble of day-glo styles and beats that break like bulls in china shops.

Check out "My Product," a wild mismash of goofy falesettos, non-stop synth buzz, hard-clapping hands, and lyrics about "dancing your life away on neon floors" thanks to their fine grade of booger sugar.
