Bersa Discos offers flights to Latin America for the price of a 7-inch. The cumbia friendly outpost has a new, limited edition tune from a Spanish-speaking discovery up for sale:
"Hay Guey" by Tzochitl Soundsystem vs.
Toy Selectah. The latter is a Mexico-based producer and remixer who digs international blends, building his beats on a cross-section of Columbian and Caribbean sytles that he dubs "Sonidero Nacional." This particular number would fit well on the Bersa's electro-cumbia club night, Tormenta Tropical, with boomin' bass, chopped up chants, and eclectic percussion samples skittering across the surface.
