Local shoegazer/indie pop label Slumberland has been on a winning streak lately, ratcheting up its fan base with releases by Crystal Stilts and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Folks looking for more twee confections should eat up the bubblegum crafted by the label's latest signing, Sweden's Liechtenstein. The band combines girl group harmonies and lots of reverb with simple drum beats, sounding both of the heavens and of the basement simultaneously. Check out the romantic tell-off, "Roses in the Park" on the band's MySpace.
