The band's photo kinda says it all. Brooklyn's
Crystal Stilts live inside a noir-shaded world, where drama and glamor come together behind a soft artistic focus. The band's logaze (lo-fi+shoegaze) rock has been a huge hit since local label
Slumberland released the group's most recent record,
Alight of Night, but fans like myself want more more more. Luckily, the group has two new, previously unreleased songs (one of which, "Through the Floor," even includes those words "more more more") posted to Daytrotter. Check out that track's "fuzzabilly-wop" and the other new tune, "Sycamore Tree" (which the band calls "graveyard dance music,")
here.
