Rock N Roll Adventure Kids love Trash...and Nutella

It's like Budget Rock came back to (mostly) this side of the Bay. The Rock N Roll Adventure Kids are organizing a Total Trash fest for the first weekend in May, a five night/seven (?) venue blowout of garage punk, Italian blooze, and (possibly) a knight crusade. The details (like unofficial shows) are still being worked out, but the bands they can announce are the top of the trash heap for sure. You say you like costumes? Lineups include The Spits , Nobunny, and Personal and the Pizzas (who'd probably argue they don't wear uniforms; they just have a look). Want your musicians in their everyday scruff? There's plenty of that too, with beloved locals like Thee Oh Sees, the Ebonics, Hunx and His Punx, The Pets, the Lateenos, Rock N Roll Adventure Kids (duh) and more. Plus there's an Italian blues explosion coming over to end the Monday night finale with a bang: Movie Star Junkies. Want more details? For now I'd stay on top of the RRAK's site, where one imagines further mysteries about the fest (tentatively scheduled for April 30 through May 4) will be revealed.
