Hammer Speaks at Stanford Business School
| Still Can't Touch Dis: Hammer |
Nothing like celebrating St. Patrick's Day by learning how to make green, eh laddie? If you'd rather own a bar than hit the bars, spend tomorrow night at Stanford Business School soaking up game from none other than Hammer. The occasion is a panel discussion, sponsored by VLAB (a joint venture capital collaboration between MIT and Stanford) called "New Music Models: New Paths to Revenue and New Opportunities."
Following a networking/meet-and-greet, which should offer a chance to swap business cards and Facebook addresses, Hammer will be joined by the manager of Death Cab for Cutie, as well as two CEOs, a venture capitalist, and an engineer. They'll be discussing the new technology-driven music business models which have cropped up in the past year and a half, while journalist Paul Bonanos moderates. Expect to hear a lot of talk about viral marketing and multimedia applications. To register, click here.
